Sunlight

• Keep the plant outdoor in natural bright light / indoor indirect bright light or artificial bright light.
• Protect the plant from direct harsh sunlight as it can cause damage to the foliage.
• Soil
• The soil should be well drained and fertile rich in oragnic content.
• Watering
• Poke your finger/plain small stick into the soil to check the moisture.
• Water when top soil (3-4 inches) feels dry to touch.
• Water thoroughly in the summer and reduce watering in winter and rainy season.
• Application of Fertilizer
• During the main growing season feed the plant with organic fertilizer once a month.
• Loosen the topsoil without disturbing the roots of the plant so it can uptake the nutrients and moisture easily.
• Re-potting
• When a plant outgrows in current pot, re-pot with fresh potting soil and some fertilizer.
• Do the re-potting late evening and keep the plant in shady area for 2 to 3 days and then move the plant in its suitable climatic condition.

  Plant Protection
• Remove dead, infected or damaged plant parts and dispose them away from the planting area.
• Spray Neem, Eucalyptus or Citrus oil for any insect/pest attack, as a primary treatment.


• Donts
• Easily grows in AC rooms but away from AC vents.
• Do not over-water the plant especially when pot does not have drainage holes.

Aloe Vera Care

Initial care for 1-2 weeks after receiving plant at your location:

• Keep the plant in natural indirect bright Light.

• Do not re-pot for min. 2 weeks after receiving it.

  Aloe Vera Uses

  Ornamental Use:

  • Aloe vera has been widely grown as an ornamental plant

  Medicinal Use:

  • Aloe vera is used in traditional medicine
  • It has been used for a variety of ailments
  • Aloe vera is most commonly used as a topical medication, rubbed onto the skin rather than eaten
  • It has long been known as a treatment for sores, particularly burns, including sunburns
  • Note: Please consult your health expert first before applying externally and internally

  Culinary Use:

  • The skin and the clear inner gel are both edible
  • Use the skin in salads, stir-fried dishes, or on its own as a snack
  • Its firm, crunchy texture makes it great to use in dips and as a cracker substitute
  • Use the gel in smoothies and cocktails

It contains

Potting: Plants do not need any special type of potting soil. Being tropical natives, they do well in any well-drained potting soil, rich with organic material. Use a mix of coco-peat, compost, and sand in a 20:60:20 ratio.

Watering: Overwatering is the chief cause of disease or loss of plant life. Do ensure that you don't overwater them. To get plants to show off their richly colored leaves, it is best to wipe them clean with moist tissue or cloth once every month. In drier months, misting them a few times a week could help improve humidity around the plant, helping them flourish.

Fertilising: Feeding your Plant a few times a year is a good way to get them to stay healthy. Give them some organic liquid fertilizer once or twice a year. Dilute it in water as described on the pack and add a little to each pot as part of your watering routine. If you are using a chemical fertiliser do ensure that you keep it away from the plant and its base.

Light:As a tropical plant that  grows in the humid bright shade of tropical forests, this plant prefers similar conditions when grown as a houseplant. It dislikes full sunlight, preferring bright, indirect sun, such as that offered by north-facing windows. It will also thrive under fluorescent lights.

However, please note that the customer is responsible for return courier, and forward shipping and management charges, which will amount to approximately 250 INR.
